Do you want to change the way your life is going?

Our newest graduatesChristian Women’s Job Corps of Abilene is a free, 10-week program designed to equip you for life and employment.

Are you tired of depending on other people and agencies to take care of your family’s needs?

As of June 2016 we have had 92 graduates.  We have stayed in touch with about two-thirds of our graduates.  Of those, about two-thirds have achieved stability. Thirty-nine are employed. Nine graduates have pursued further education, and eight are giving back to the community through volunteer opportunities.

Would you like to know how to find and keep a job that will support you and your family?

Our classes are held twice a year: in Spring and Fall for ten weeks. The classes meet Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m. We cover life skills, job readiness skills, computer skills, and Bible study.

Would you like to have a best friend that will walk beside you, listen to you, and be your cheerleader?

At CWJC, you will be matched with a journey-partner who will walk beside you and encourage you as you begin changing your future story, continuing that support after graduation.

Apply to Participate with CWJC today.

Attend CWJC at no cost to you.

Women can attend Christian Women’s Job Corps at no cost. All the materials for the course as well as professional clothing for your job search are provided by CWJC. Most importantly, CWJC offers a way to build healthy and positive relationships, move from dependency to self-sufficiency, find spiritual encouragement, learn life skills and job readiness skills, and work with a mentor who will listen to you and encourage you.

How do I apply?

Any woman, eighteen and older,  who has a desire to achieve stability in life and employment and is willing to stay alcohol and drug-free may apply to attend CWJC of Abilene.
