Volunteer Teacher Sara Core and participants

Christian Women’s Job Corps of Abilene is a holistic ministry with the emphasis on treating people the way Jesus did.

CWJC provides Christians with an effective, deliberate ministry. It does not practice random acts of kindness, but rather operates a thoughtful, well-conceived, effective ministry. Its efforts do not gloss over real needs, but rather encourage permanent change. Through this time-intensive, individually tailored program, CWJC can empower participants to become economically self-sufficient, complete their education, obtain safe housing, or achieve their personal goals.
