Our volunteers make a difference in the lives of individuals who come through our program. They give their time and serve from the heart to be a positive influence. Each one is dedicated to the mission of CJC: to empower, encourage, and experience God. We love our volunteers! Ways to Volunteer
Prayer Partners
Become a prayer warrior for our participants who are going through our program. Be their encouragement and voice of faith that God is working every detail and is with them every step of this journey.
Time Commitment: 30 minutes each week of classes
Work in the Classroom
Be a part of what we are doing in the classroom! You will have a hands-on experience with participants as they have group discussions, role-playing, mock-interviews, computer skills and encouragement for each day they are there.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours each week
Teach a Class
Do you have a heart for teaching? We welcome you to volunteer in this way! We will provide the curriculum and the materials you need for having a great class. You will be supported and most appreciated for the time you invest in the women of our program!
Time Commitment: 2 hours a week + time to prepare lessons
Our Need for teachers is great! The more teachers we have, the more we are able to offer to our community.
It is our dream to have online classes, off-site classes and weekly evening classes.
Weekly Volunteer
Our weekly volunteers are the best! They keep things moving in the right direction and have a heart to serve. They help by setting up lunch, drinks and joining us for good conversation over lunch! This role is so important to have someone who genuinely loves people! After lunch, they help with clean-up and can stay to help with a project, as needed.
Time Commitment: 2 hours, scheduled on the same day each week and able to move about with ease.
